A Wedding Website/Blog and Etsy Shop

I spent the last few days working on my sister’s wedding website/blog (another WordPress blog) and can finally say I’m happy with it! Check it out here.

I’m out of practice with HTML and CSS (not that I was ever THAT familiar with it to begin with!).

I’ve also opened an Etsy Shop. More items will be listed soon!

I finally got up enough nerve to actually BUY a website domain! I was a little ticked because esdesigns.com was already taken, but I’m over that now. The new site is here.

Other than some over-the-shoulder work on The Cake Mom’s site and a shortlived website experience in college, my web design skills are a big fat zero.

However, after looking at the built-in templates from godaddy.com, I decided to give it a try. Now, at 2:30 am, there is finally something to show for my hours of labor, even though much is missing and some of my links just disappeared.

Until recently, I’ve been so busy with my REAL job, I haven’t had the time to work on new designs, let alone post here.

Sorry.

I also got some great news the other day! I had forgotten about entering a design contest back in the summer. They sent me an email last week announcing that I won! No big prize money, just the fame … Award (scroll to “Book Cover Design”)
